Biography:

Dr. Tripp is a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate Athletic Training Program in the Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Tripp holds numerous professional certifications including Certified Athletic Trainer, Golf Medical Professional, Golf Fitness Instructor, Clinical Instructor Educator and Emergency Medical Technician. He teaches, conducts research and reviews manuscripts and textbooks in the fields of Athletic Training, Sports Medicine and Biomechanics. Dr. Tripp has published and presented research nationally and internationally on topics including scapular kinematics, overhead-throwing athletes, golf biomechanics and kinetics, effects of fatigue on sensorimotor system function and enhancing neuromuscular control in the upper-extremity.
