Student College Council

The College of Health and Human Performance Student College Council is the liaison between students, their college departments, the board of college councils, university administration, and student government. We strive to promote mutual understanding, communication, cooperation, and coordination among various departments, faculty, clubs, honoraries, and students as represented by their respective members.

If you would like to become more involved within the College of Health and Human Performance, express your views and share ideas, we have monthly general meetings that are open to ALL students. Here is our Student College Council Constitution!

Student College Council Mission Statement

To encourage, promote, and facilitate the pursuit of academic and personal success of the students within the College of Health and Human Performance, through serving as liaison between the students, faculty, clubs and organizations, and student government. Through the dissemination of information, funds, and opportunities the Student College Council is determined to support and advance the collective goals of the college’s students and its clubs and organizations.

Get Involved

ETA SIGMA GAMMA

A national professional health education honorary that provides students the opportunity to participate fully as a professional health educator through community service drives, planning health education events for diverse population groups, and professional development opportunities.

GATOR SPORT MANAGEMENT CLUB

Promotes both academic and professional disciplines as they relate to sport. Connects members with professionals in the sport industry and career opportunities.

GRADUATE STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL (GSAC)

Organized to unite the graduate student body and to advocate on behalf of all graduate students in CHHP. GSAC provides a safe forum for the expression of views of the graduate student, facilitates collaborations and interactions among graduate students; provides mentoring relationships and general support for incoming and current graduate students; and plans orientations and social events to welcome incoming graduate students and maintaining relationships with current graduate students.

LEISURE EDUCATION AND PARKS STUDENTS (LEAPS)

Promotes and encourages the development of students in the profession of recreation, leisure, and event management.
