AT Program Prospective Students
Bachelor’s Athletic Training Program (AT Program)
Welcome to the University of Florida’s Athletic Training Program (AT Program) website. We are extremely excited about your interest in the field of athletic training and our program at the University of Florida. Our program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education Programs (CAATE) and is designed to develop and prepare individuals for a career as an athletic trainer.
We pride ourselves in challenging our students academically and clinically, through intensive study and practice in the domains of athletic training and related fields. Through the integration and synthesis of the information taught and skills learned our students become proficient in clinical decision making and critical thinking.
Please review the information provided on our website (i.e., Admission Requirements, Observational Opportunities, etc) by navigating through the links to the left. Any prospective student interested in the AT Program is encouraged to contact the Athletic Training Program Director, Dr. Patricia M. Tripp (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions. Current University of Florida students planning to apply to our program should schedule an advising appointment with the Applied Physiology and Kinesiology Academic Advisor to ensure you meet pre-requisite curriculum requirements for admission. Potential transfer students should refer to the information on the University of Florida Admissions, Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology “Transfer Admission Requirements” and the Athletic Training “Admissions Requirements” web pages for more information (i.e., application information, deadlines, etc).
